This is not a typical entry in the Perpetual Film Fest. Usually, we look for short stories or animations or music videos, not sped-up in-software modelling demoes. This video was fascinating for us not just for the incredible skill on display, but also the meditation that came up as we watched - all-digital modelling is an art form that has only existed for a couple decades and to see the medium mastered over such a short span of time is very invigorating.
It's a bit of a reminder - there are art forms that have yet to be invented. Sounds we haven't heard and images we haven't seen. There are foods we haven't tasted and sensations we haven't felt. This chimp could not have existed 20 years ago. We have to wonder what can't exist today but will soon enough.

Ice Block was not involved in the production of this short film.
