We took the Glidecam out to do some moving vehicle tests for a segment we're shooting this month for How To Survive In Tokyo. This footage mixes Black Magic Cinema Camera (shooting at 1920x1080 ProRes on a Canon 16-35 2.8 lens) with Hero 3+ footage. The Hero was either dangling from the bottom of the Glidecam or strapped to the handlebar of the motorcycle.
On the Hero3, we were shooting ProTune, CamRaw and medium saturation. Of course, color profiles don't really matter when you're finishing to black and white, but we'll be doing some color correction tests later this week to check how closely we can watch the two types of footage.
