Alex Thompson (and team) strikes again, this time with a short film about a young boy with a very active imagination. You might remember Alex from a previous entry, Death and the Robot. Knowing his track record, it should come as no surprise that this film is another visual feast executed without any dialog. Wordless stories always come across as so light and free, one can easily get the feeling that creating them must be easier than a film with dialog.
Trust us. It's not. Communicating plot through only visual cues is no small task. But, when it works, by golly, does it ever work.
