It's rare to find a social-issue doc that isn't hammering its point. While the makers of this film have issues on their minds that they want to communicate, the real joy of this film is watching a drifty, meditative documentary that doesn't make itself obnoxious with agenda pushing.
Unless you're a cat person. In which case, the real thrill will be the cats.
